You exemplify spectacular restraint in handily managing "the impossible", then explaining it brilliantly.

Hi Simon
I think the one on the right stands on it's own as an image, although it's an interesting concept to have the two images in one, I think you put one up like this before?
When you do the second flash do you hit the button on what I assume is a hot shoe mounted controller ? and I assume total darkness to get two clean images with no movement showing which must have it's own dangers for you if you have to move anywhere during the exposure time :D

Yes this is from the same shoot and yes the right image would stand alone as an image, they both would for different reasons, this of course could be achieved with a relatively simple layer blend, but the point was to do it in camera, so many people have told me that dual exposure isn't possible with digital as you cannot expose the same frame twice like you can with film and technically they are correct, but if you have the right conditions and bend the rules a little it is possible, which was the whole point, having a model that is very self aware of positioning helps too ;)
Anyway, yes total darkness required for two clean and sharp images, the camera can only see reflected light, so the light passing over the previously exposed image has no effect.
Flash fired twice by remote radio trigger whilst shutter open, if nothing else it was intersting and I can say with honesty that I didnt "cheat" to get the effect so often used in editing :D

Lovely Image, the pose on the right is amazing! I really love the shape of her body. The pose on the left is gorgeous too, it's not a straight on which makes it amazing.
Interesting manip to have her ignoring herself.

HOLY CRAP! That is amazing I would never have thought of doing this. It is always annoying you cannot double expose as you can with film.

Wonderful image hun!
