Thanks for your comment, the technique is a bit hit and miss and takes a bit of practice, but worth it when you get a keeper.
I experimented on still life, flowers and stuff before subjecting a poor model to it

I love the vortex effect. As much as I want to know how you did it, I quite like not knowing cause then it still feels like magic. The model's dress makes me think of little red riding hood and the vortex thingy (I'm so technical) gives the impression that she's running away from something...kind of like a nightmare scene in a movie.
